Our online catalogue and web site is working pretty well now. I have established a monthly update for most of the catalogue, and this also is working well. I regret that I have still not been able to master photographs for the catalogue - the operation just requires more time than I have available. Most of the faulty links have been eliminated.

Condition: Near mint. (27390) £14. What Fred thinks about this book: This book is superbly written, illustrated, and produced. What a pity it almost totally excludes any references to the best railway company in Britain and its main areas of operation Yorkshire, Durham, and Northumberland. We had many wonderful "Country Railways" in this area, served by a large and powerful railway company which was renowned for its responsibilities to its locality. One of the most beautiful lines in Britain ran along the coast from Scarborough to Saltburn - almost no mention of this line in this book. We must be the most neglected area in the country as far as railway literature is concerned.
