Hama Film Cement

We are now able to offer fresh Hama Professional Film Cement in 12 ml. bottles with built-in application brush. This is the leading brand, and is suitable for most cine film, but not for Fujica Single 8, which is on a polyester base which must be spliced using tape. If ordered with a splicer or editor, there will be no additional postage charge. Price per 12 ml. bottle, £7.

Elmo Editor 912 Dual 8, we normally regard this as the best 8 mm. editor, but this one is not as good as usual. Takes 10 watt 6 volt standard lamp. Wind on geared down, rewind geared up. Accessory shoe. Spool super-8 centres are missing. Needs subdued lighting to use. Probably capable of improvement. (27185) £50.

Elmo Editor Frame Counter, fits onto most editors fitted with an accessory shoe. Beautifully made, mint condition. (27125) £15.

Film Editors - Super-8

Goko Sound Editor RM3B, takes 600 foot maximum spool size, 10 watt 6 volt standard lamp, screen size 100 mm. x 75 mm., plays back at 18 and 24 f.p.s., variable speed over-ride, powered film advance. viewing is better in subdued light, short mains lead, soft cover, copy of instructions, excellent condition. (25039) £90.

Hahnel FB-1000 Super-8 Editor, a good inexpensive machine, wind-on and rewind arms both direct drive, good focus and framing controls, should be used in subdued lighting, excellent condition. (26783) £30.

Medalist Super-8 Editor. Screen size 100 mm. x 70 mm. 6 volt 10 watt lamp. Rewind geared up, wind on direct. Not an Elmo, but it does work satisfactorily in subdued lighting. (27124) £15.

Minette Viewer Editor S Eight, the best editor for the expert. Proper projector-style gate keeps image in focus all the time, easy focus adjustment, frame marker punch makes a neat hole in the edge of the film alongside the frame in view, wind on geared down, rewind geared up, 400 foot maximum spool size, takes standard 10 watt lamp but screen is not bright, best used in darkened room. A fine machine. (16439) £59.

Prinz Oxford 600 Super 8 Movie Editor, 400 foot maximum spool size, 120 mm. x 90 mm. screen size, quite bright, sharp contrasty picture, 10 watt 6 volt standard lamp, wind geared down, rewind geared up, made by Goko, near mint condition with copy instructions. (25265) £36.50.

Muray Kinay 816 Editor Conversion Kit from 16 mm. to 8 mm., in original box with instructions. (26614) £4.

Film Splicers

FILM SPLICERS

Agfa N8S Super 8 Cement Bevel Splicer. Scrapes both pieces of film in one action. In my opinion one of the finest Super 8 splicers ever made, and my favourite. Excellent condition. Copy instructions. (27101) £25.

Agfa F8S Super 8 Tape Splicer, mint condition in original box with copy instructions. (25480) £10.

Agfa F8S Automatic Super 8 Tape Splicer, original Agfa tapes are hard to find now, but it works well with QuikSplice tapes. Near mint condition with instructions. (25170) £14.50.

Baia Standard 8 Tape Splicer. A neat, practical compact tape splicer. Splicing tapes for Standard 8 are not so easy to find nowadays. (25799) £3.

Bolex 16 mm. Bevel Cement Splicer. Near mint condition. Copy instructions, (27109) £60.

Cherry Japanese Dual 8 Cement Splicer. Excellent condition. (27123) £5.

Dixons Tape Splicer for Super 8, in original packet with instructions, uses Quik Splice tapes. (25535) £9.

Fujica Single 8 Splicer Deluxe. A super-duper version of the excellent Fujica Tape Splicer. SUITABLE ALSO FOR SUPER-8 FILMS. Includes a battery operated lamp and magnified film viewing facility. Includes a part-used reel of splices, plus an unused reel. Mint in original box (a little shabby) with copy of instructions. (27364) £50.

Fujica Single 8 Tape Splicer, in our opinion this is the best Super 8 tape splicer. Uses a pre-perforated roll of splices, still available. Looks unused in original box, copy instructions. (26616) £18.

Hahnel Colmatic Dual 8 Bevel Splicer. Splices Standard-8 and Super-8 but not suitable for Single-8. Fred has always liked these machines, and used one for many years. Precision film cutter. Battery driven grinding wheel shapes the film ends to a bevel. Easy to use and provides an excellent splice. Requires two U2 cells. One rubber foot missing, easily rectified. (27361) £15.

Hama Cinepress S8II - Sound Comfort Super-8 Tape Splicer, uses Hama Tape Splices (still available from Hama), copy instructions. Near mint condition. (26617) £9.

Kodak Presstapes 16 mm. in sealed packet of five tapes. (24599) 50p. We have a quantity of these.

Japanese Cement Splicer, usual design for Standard 8 and 16 mm.,in original box, mint condition. (27357) £5.

Noris Splicomatic Bevel Cement Splicer for standard 8 and 16 mm. A fine machine but this example is not working perfectly. It will produce the finest bevel cement splices but the "automatic" button has been strained. Film plates must be lifted manually. Cosmetic condition is mint, in original box and packing with copy instructions. (25372) To clear at £7.

Noris Splicomatic 8/16 Cement Bevel Splicer. One of these excellent machines was my first introduction to precision splicing many years ago, and it still takes some beating! Excellent condition in original box with instructions. (27121) £25.

Noris Splicomatic 8/16, a rare late version of this superb splicer for standard 8 and 16 mm. film. It appears to have been introduced in 1965 after Super 8 came out. Produces bevel cement splices accurately, easily, and quickly. I used the earlier version for many years, it was my first precision splicer. This machine is in near mint condition. (24969) £29.

Paillard Bolex 16 mm. Bevel Cement Splicer, sophisticated design which has never worked as well as it should in my opinion. Near mint in original box. Copy instructions. (24970) £43.50.

Premier Film Joiner, 8 mm. and 16 mm., earlier model with no built-in film scraper. Excellent condition in original box. (27356) £5.

Premier De Luxe Film Joiner for 16 mm. and 8 mm. films, with automatic film scraper, in mint condition in original box with copy of instructions. (24571) £29.
