Voigtlander Vito Cameras - Vitomatic IIa

by Stephanie Marriott

The Vitomatic IIa was introduced in about 1960.

The specification is similar to that of the Vitomatic Ia, but with the addition of a coupled rangefinder.

In 1962, the camera was also available with the f/2 six element Ultron 50 mm. lens, at a cost of about £68, compared with about £57 for the Color Skopar model.

In 1964, the shutter specification changed to a ten-speed shutter, although the fastest and slowest speeds were unchanged.

The camera was discontinued in the mid-sixties.
