by Stephanie Marriott

Voigtlander Vitomatic IIb

The Vitomatic IIb was introduced in about 1965.

It has a coupled aperture-priority meter with viewfinder display (settings are reflected into the crystal frame viewfinder), a coupled coincident-image rangefinder, rewind crank, hot shoe and cable release socket. The camera was fitted with the f/2.8 Color Skopar in Prontor 500 SLK-V ten-speed shutter and cost about £64 in 1965.

It was discontinued in Britain around 1968.
